"Vai Cavalo" will soon ply his elite trade and skills on a new continent.
Since capturing the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Heavyweight strap from previous two-time titleholder Cain Velasquez in June, reigning 265-pound king Fabricio Werdum has been able to enjoy himself outside of the Octagon.
And now, "Vai Cavalo," who will rematch Velasquez at a mixed martial arts (MMA) event in Brazil sometime in first-quarter 2016, is set to become an ambassador of Chechen Akhmat Fight Club, which is said to be a "lucrative deal" for the Brazilian, according to manager Ali Abdelaziz, that allows him to train in Chechnya part time.
