UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier has been vocal about ending his career by 40 years of age. On Monday’s edition of The MMA Hour, “DC” declared that he would indeed be done competing by his 40th birthday.
“Come March, I will have 12 months, at max, left. I’m going to be done by March 20, 2019. I won’t be fighting again,” Cormier told Ariel Helwani (via MMA Fighting).
Unlike many fighters in the game, Cormier says his retirement will be with finality and will turn his attention to be a full-time family man.
