UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones will not be sentenced to jail for his latest arrest.
According to a report from TMZ, Jones has pleaded guilty to a DWI charge, stemming from his March 26th arrest in New Mexico. Part of that deal includes dropping the other charges: negligent use of a firearm, driving without proof of insurance, and possession of an open container.
As for his punishment, it’s not particularly heavy. He’ll be under supervised probation for one-year, as well as “96 hours in a community custody program — which is a form of incarceration, but not in a traditional jail cell,” something similar to house arrest.
