Alexander Hernandez was brash and disrespectful toward Donald Cerrone in the buildup to their featured ESPN prelim bout at UFC Brooklyn.
But the popular “Cowboy” taught the youngster a lesson or two about respecting your elders on Saturday night at Barclays Center.
Cerrone picked the San Antonio native apart in a lightweight matchup before earning a second-round TKO. The time of the stoppage was 3:43.
With the victory, Cerrone added to his UFC wins record with his 22nd Octagon victory and his UFC finishes mark (16). It was his 30th career UFC fight, joining Jim Miller as the only fighter to reach that mark.
