Junior dos Santos out-struck Blagoy Ivanov for the bulk of five rounds to earn a unanimous decision in the UFC Boise main event. JDS attacked the body early, backing up Ivanov to the fence and keeping him defensive. Ivanov started to march forward around the third round, landing a couple of big bombs on the former UFC champion. JDS made the proper adjustments as Ivanov came forward. He pumped his jab and moved his feet, making it difficult for Ivanov to close the distance. The strong showing for JDS earned 50-45 scored from all three judges.
