An entertaining night of fights in Berlin culminated with a strawwight title fight between Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Jessica Penne. While many expected an early finish for the champion, Penne showed remarkable heart and survived until the third round when the referee stepped in to mercifully bring the fight to an end. Apart from that, several other fighters shone through and were awarded generously for their efforts.
In a striking clinic on Saturday, Mairbek Taisumov produced his best showing in the Octagon to date on Saturday afternoon in Berlin when he defeated Alan Patrick via second round TKO following a head kick.
