Priscila Cachoeira is not the only fighter to get long medical suspension after UFC Belem.
“Pedrita” was issued a 180-day suspension after losing to Valentina Shevchenko last Saturday, and will have to undergo knee surgery that could force her out of action for the rest of the year. Tim Johnson, who defeated Marcelo Golm in the main card, could also be out for six months.
The Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission (CABMMA) announced on Monday that Johnson was issued a 180-day medical suspension after his heavyweight win, but could return sooner if cleared by an otolaryngologist.
