UFC bantamweight contender Pedro Munhoz notched the biggest win of his career by knocking out former 135-pound champion Cody Garbrandt in the first round at UFC 235 in March. With emotions running high, the Brazilian went on to leap the cage fence to have a few friendly words with Dominick Cruz, who was at the broadcast booth at the time.
Munhoz’s post-fight actions, however, were met with a hefty disciplinary action, as the Nevada Athletic Commission decided to suspend him temporarily. During the Commission meeting on Wednesday, Munhoz also received a $2,500 fine.
