Top 10 bantamweight Aljamain Sterling will be out until at least late summer as he recovers from hernia surgery.
Sterling’s manager, Jason Rivera, told UFC Tonight that the fighter will be sidelined approximately four to six weeks once he undergoes the procedure. Sterling suffered an inguinal hernia, which is also known as a groin hernia.
Rivera told UFC Tonight that Sterling is gunning for a Top 10 opponent when he returns to action later this year.
