“Cowboy” got a much-needed victory in the UFC Fight Night 126 headliner in Austin, Texas, on Sunday night, as he scored a knockout of Yancy Medeiros in the waning seconds of the opening round. A right hand to the jaw sent Medeiros tumbling to the ground, and Cerrone sealed the win with follow-up punches on the mat at the 4:58 mark of the period.
With the win, Cerrone halts a three-bout skid and sets himself up for more entertaining fights as 2018 progresses.
