The UFC is about to make its third trip to mainland China in August.
The mixed martial arts promotion announced Sunday that a Fight Night card is scheduled for Aug. 31 in Shenzhen, taking place at the 18,000-seat Universiade Sports Centre. It’s the company’s third show in mainland China since Nov. 2017.
More details, including the headlining attraction, are yet to be announced, but the UFC Fight Night show will he held only a few months after the UFC opens its Performance Institute in Shanghai, China, in June.
The list of Chinese fighters currently signed by the UFC includes Weili Zhang (19-1), Li Jingliang (16-5), Yadong Song (18-3), Yan Xiaonan (10-1, 1 NC) and Yanan Wu (10-2).
