Fifth Round Pereira isn’t showing much urgency through the first minute even though he’s almost certainly down on the scorecards. Ankalaev gets an early volume advantage but Pereira gets some back with a left hook. They trade leg kicks. Ankalaev comes forward. Ankalaev jabs. Pereira seems tentative. Pereirs is keeping his distance but might need the opposite. He lands a combination with about three minutes remaining and the crowd goes wild. Pereira is turning away Ankalaev’s jabs but not mounting much offense.
