There was no trouble on the scales this time for Charles Oliveira as the former Ultimate Fighting Championship lightweight titleholder successfully made weight for his UFC 280 showdown against Islam Makhachev.
"Do Bronx" was first to the scales and weighed 154.5 pounds. This was a far cry from Oliveria's previous weigh-in, which saw the Brazilian lose the lightweight championship on the scale. Makhachev was next up and also weighed 154.5 pounds. Bantamweight champ Aljamain Sterling and challenger T.J. Dillashaw both weighed 135, making two title fights official for the pay-per-view.
