Nick Diaz feels ‘unstoppable’ ahead of his return to the octagon on Sept. 25.
The former Strikeforce welterweight champion and UFC fan favorite said he feels ‘more dangerous’ now at the ripe age of 38 than when he first fought Robbie Lawler as a young 21-year-old all the way back in 2004.
Diaz and Lawler are scheduled to fight on the UFC 266 main card on Sept. 25, 17 years on from their first welterweight matchup at UFC 46, which saw Diaz KO ‘Ruthless’ in the second round with a perfectly placed short right hook.
“I’m actually way more of a dangerous fighter than I was when I fought Robbie Lawler the first time,” Diaz said ahead of the rematch (h/t Jordan Ellis of Low Kick MMA).
