UFC 265 weigh-in results: Derrick Lewis and Ciryl Gane on weight for title fight, Manel Kape misses by 3 pounds

Derrick Lewis won’t be giving up any poundage in his second shot at a UFC title.

“The Black Beast” successfully weighed in at 264.5 pounds for Saturday’s vacant interim heavyweight championship bout opposite Ciryl Gane, which headlines UFC 265 at Toyoto Center in Houston. He came in 17.5 pounds heavier than Gane, who tipped the scales at 247 pounds.

The UFC 265 main event pits Lewis, the No. 3-ranked heavyweight in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings against Gane, who is currently tied with Curtis Blaydes at No. 4.

In the co-main event, bantamweight contenders Jose Aldo (6) and Pedro Munhoz (7) also successfully made weight at 136 and 135 pounds, respectively.
