After the unfortunate ending to UFC 264, Dustin Poirier claimed that Conor McGregor was hurling death threats at the former interim lightweight champion and a video has since surfaced backing that up.
Poirier and McGregor met for the third time in the main event of Saturday night’s card at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. After a competitive opening stretch of action, Poirier took a huge chunk of momentum for the second half of the opening round, mostly on top of McGregor on the ground landing big shots. When they got back to their feet, both fighters engaged, coming up short on striking attempts.
