On the day when it was made official that Dustin Poirier will have his trilogy with Conor McGregor this summer, ‘The Diamond’ issued a statement on his recent public spat with the Irish superstar.
Poirier called out McGregor earlier in the week for not making his promised $500,000 donation to “The Good Fight Foundation.” McGregor and his manager Audie Attar put the onus on Poirier and his team by claiming no clarity was given on where the money would be spent. Poirier responded by saying Conor’s team “hasn’t responded to our emails about anything involving my foundation after they reached out to us originally.
