Katlyn Chookagian continues to prove she’s going to be a huge obstacle to anyone attempting to get to the top of the flyweight division.
On Saturday night at UFC 262, Chookagian once again showed off her volume striking attack to chip away at Viviane Araujo round after round to eventually win a unanimous decision. While Araujo definitely had her moments, Chookagian’s pace and pressure was eventually just too much as she earned the victory with the scorecards reading 30-27, 29-28 and 29-28 all in her favor.
“I wasn’t concerned [about the decision] but you never know about the takedown,” Chookagian said after earning her second straight win.
