The UFC’s last pay-per-view of 2020 was a thriller, but it could be a while before we see some of its stars compete again.
Seven fighters are facing potential six-month medical suspensions, including UFC 256 flyweight championship main event participants Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno. The two battled for 25 minutes this past Saturday, with Figueiredo successfully defending his title via majority draw.
Figueiredo will require clearance from a doctor for a broken toe on his right foot and an MRI of his right bicep. If that MRI is positive, Figueiredo will then require clearance from an orthopedic doctor or be on the shelf until June 11.
