UFC 250 main event competitors Amanda Nunes and Felicia Spencer are among seven fighters from this past Saturday’s card facing 180-day layoffs.
Nunes, who retained her featherweight title with a five-round verdict over Spencer at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, must have an x-ray of her right tibia/fibula cleared by an orthopedic surgeon or she will be sidelined for 180 days. “Lioness” is suspended for a minimum of 30 days with no contact for 20 days.
Spencer, meanwhile, must have her left orbital floor and a nasal fracture cleared by a maxillofacial surgeon or she will be out for 180 days.
