UFC 249 weigh-in results: Jeremy Stephens misses weight again

A longtime octagon veteran, “Lil’ Heathen” is booked to face Calvin Kattar in a featherweight bout Saturday night in Jacksonville, Fla., but came in at 150.5 pounds at the official weigh-ins Friday morning.

Kattar weighed in at 146 pounds.

The UFC has yet to announce if the fight will proceed, with Kattar receiving a percentage of Stephens’ purse.

Stephens (28-17, 1 no-contest) is coming off a four-fight winless skid with losses to Jose Aldo, Zabit Magomedsharipov and Yair Rodriguez. That streak also includes a no-contest against Rodriguez.

“Lil’ Heathen” missed weight twice before as a UFC fighter, once as a lightweight, against Gleison Tibau in 2009, and for a 2015 featherweight clash with Dennis Bermudez.
