At Friday’s official weigh-ins, Conor McGregor and Donald Cerrone successfully hit the welterweight limit for their main event bout set to take place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas this Saturday.
Cerrone was the first fighter to weigh in and he hit 170 on the dot. McGregor would also later weigh in at 170 pounds.
The results were expected given that both men typically compete at a lower weight class and that neither has ever come in heavy for a fight. This marks McGregor’s seventh consecutive pay-per-view main event, while Cerrone headlines a UFC PPV for the first time in his 14-year career.
