The UFC 246 main card is underway and the company’s #12 ranked heavyweight Aleksei Oleinik just submitted Maurice Greene in the second round. Oleinik leaned on his grappling to take the fight into his world, and ultimately come up with the finish. The win snapped a two-fight losing skid and the Russian gets to keep his place in the rankings.
Before that, Brian Kelleher picked up a sweet first round guillotine on UFC newcomer Ode Osbourne. Kelleher got the takedown, and then once he grabbed ahold of the choke, it was only a matter of time. The win gets Kelleher back into the win column, bringing his UFC record to 4-3.
