Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington battled it out in a grueling and bloody back and forth war for nearly five rounds in the UFC 245 main event but at least both fighters will go home with the biggest paychecks for anybody competing on the card this past Saturday night.
The Nevada State Athletic Commission confirmed the salaries from UFC 245 on Monday.
Usman and Covington both earned an event high $500,000 each for their welterweight showdown with an additional $50,000 going to champion and challenger for the “Fight of the Night.
