The UFC returns to Abu Dhabi for the third time. The lightweight title will be on the line as Khabib Nurmagomedov faces Dustin Poirier in the main event of UFC 242. Nurmagomedov, the champion, is coming off a nine month suspension stemming from an incident at UFC 229. That came after he submitted former featherweight and lightweight champion, Conor McGregor. He returns to face the interim lightweight champion, Dustin Poirier. He enters the fight with an undefeated record of 27-0, while Poirier enters the fight on a solid four fight win streak.
