Stipe Miocic took home the largest paycheck at UFC 241, earning $750,000 for his come-from-behind victory against Daniel Cormier in the evening’s headliner in Anaheim, Calif., on Saturday night.
Miocic’s disclosed purse did not include a win bonus. Cormier, meanwhile, garnered $500,000 in defeat. The California State Athletic Commission released salary figures from the event, which took place at the Honda Center. Miocic rallied to stop Cormier via technical knockout at the 4:09 mark of Round 4 to reclaim the heavyweight title he lost at UFC 226.
Nate Diaz was the card’s next highest-earner, as he banked $250,000 for an entertaining unanimous verdict over Anthony Pettis ($155,000) in the welterweight co-main event.
