Several fighters competing at UFC 241 this past weekend are looking at potentially lengthy medical suspensions for a litany of injuries.
On Monday, the California State Athletic Commission released the medical suspensions in an email to MMA Fighting.
At the top of the card, Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier will not face lengthy suspensions at all despite engaging in a war that finally ended with a fourth-round knockout. Miocic reclaimed the heavyweight title and walked away from the fight relatively unscathed.
Miocic will face a seven-day mandatory suspension along with a potential 60-day suspension for a laceration near his left eye or he would require medical clearance.
