Much as the card looked heading in to fight night, UFC 240 ended up being all about perceptions. The narratives that fans brought with them entering the evening were largely likely to color much of what they took away. Max Holloway and Cris Cyborg put on reasonably strong, decidedly winning performances. But, they didn’t set the world alight.
