Jon Jones and Amanda Nunes were the top earners at UFC 239, as each took home $500,000 for their work in the Octagon this past Saturday night.
The Nevada State Athletic Commission released salaries from the event, which took place the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Jones earned a flat $500,000 purse for a unanimous decision victory over Thiago Santos ($350,000) in the evening’s light heavyweight headliner. Nunes’ salary included a $200,000 win bonus for a first-round knockout of Holly Holm ($300,000) in the bantamweight co-main event.
Other notable payouts from the card included Jorge Masvidal, who pocketed $200,000 for a five-second knockout of Ben Askren ($210,000) in a featured welterweight tilt and Luke Rockhold, who garnered $200,000 in a second-round stoppage loss to Jan Blachowicz ($92,000) at light heavyweight.
