It’s International Fight Week 2019! There’s just one card this year as opposed to two or three like we’ve seen in years past, and it’s the big pay-per-view at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 6th.
The UFC 239 main event is a light heavyweight title defense for Jon Jones against the powerful Brazilian striker Thiago Santos, who’s gone from middling middleweight to top-flight light heavyweight. As for the co-main event, two-division champion Amanda Nunes puts her women’s bantamweight belt on the line against former champ Holly Holm. Other main card action includes a huge welterweight showdown between Jorge Masvidal and Ben Askren, Luke Rockhold’s LHW debut against Jan Blachowicz, and what should be a high-quality grappling affair between welterweights Diego Sanchez and Michael Chiesa.
