Donald Cerrone will need to be cleared before he can get back into the Octagon again.
“Cowboy” was suspended indefinitely by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation’s boxing division following his technical knockout loss to Tony Ferguson in a featured bout at UFC 238. Cerrone must have a clean CT of his facial bones and an MRI of his head before he can be cleared. MMAjunkie.com was able to obtain a full list of suspensions, which were not released by the Illinois commission.
Cerrone was not allowed to continue once his right eye swelled shut following the second round of his matchup with Ferguson.
