The televised portion of the UFC 237 prelims just concluded on ESPN with Ryan Spann knocking out Antonio Rogerio Nogueira in the first round. Spann has now won six in a row and continues to climb up the UFC’s 205-pound ladder. Before that, Thiago Moises took all three rounds on each of the scorecards against Kurt Holobaugh. He was able to find top position several times, dropping strikes and racking up control time.
Warlley Alves tenderized the lead leg of Sergio Moraes before ultimately knocking him out with an uppercut in the third round. Alves has won three of his last four and seemed to be firing on all cylinders tonight.
