UFC 235: Referees, judges selected for Jon Jones vs. Anthony Smith, Tyron Woodley vs. Kamaru Usman

A pair of veteran names will be the third men in the cage for UFC 235’s championship doubleheader.

Referee Herb Dean was selected by a unanimous vote at a Monday meeting of the Nevada Athletic Commission to oversee UFC 235’s main event between UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and challenger Anthony Smith, while fellow veteran referee Marc Goddard was selected to oversee the co-headlining bout between UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley and challenger Kamaru Usman.

Both referees will be paid $1,900 each for the assignment.

As for the judges, Las Vegas regulars Sal D’Amato, Junichiro Kamijo, and Chris Lee were selected to score Jones vs.
