UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones was one of 10 fighters to be issued a potentially lengthy medical suspension in the aftermath of UFC 235.
The Nevada Athletic Commission released the event’s finalized medical suspension report to MMA Fighting on Monday.
Jones successfully defended his title against Anthony Smith via unanimous decision in the night’s main event. As a result of damage sustained in the contest, Jones will be forced to seek medical clearance on a potential left foot injury or sit out 180 days before returning to active competition, per Nevada commission officials.
