Thanks to the Nevada Athletic Commission, Jon Jones is licensed to compete at UFC 235 in Las Vegas. The main event is now official, as Jones will defend his title against Anthony Smith on March 2nd. In the co-main, welterweight champion Tyron Woodley puts his belt on the line against Kamaru Usman.
Today (Thursday, January 31) is the press conference to officially launch this event, which figures to be a great PPV filled with interesting fights. Among the non-title bouts on the card is the long-awaited UFC debut of Ben Askren, who will take on former welterweight champion Robbie Lawler, while former men’s bantamweight champ Cody Garbrandt returns to action against Pedro Munhoz.
