Five fighters from UFC 232 could be looking at a lengthy time on the sidelines.
The California State Athletic Commission released medical suspensions from the Dec. 29 event, which took place at the Forum in Inglewood, Calif., and saw Jon Jones claim the vacant light heavyweight crown with a third-round technical knockout of Alexander Gustafsson in the evening’s headliner. Gustafsson received a 45-day suspension with 30 days of no contact due to the TKO defeat, while Jones emerged from the bout with a clean bill of health.
The five fighters suspended for 180 days following UFC 232 were as follows: Walt Harris (possible left knee fracture); Andrei Arlovski (possible nose fracture); Douglas Silva de Andrade (possible fractures); Curtis Millender (possible right elbow fracture) and Siyar Bahadurzada (possible jaw and left knee fracture).
