The UFC 227 PPV is in progress, and JJ Aldrich and Polyana Viana just went at it for the full fifteen minutes. It was the striking of Aldrich that led her to the unanimous decision victory. With the win, Aldrich now enjoys a 7-3 record on top of a three-fight winning streak. Opening up the main card, Thiago Santos found success striking on the feet, and on the ground, against UFC newcomer Kevin Holland. Santos came into this fight ranked #13 in the organization, and this win doesn’t do much to improve that number, but he did get some quality time in multiple facets of the fight.
