The UFC 220 main card saw some light heavyweights do battle as Gian Villante won a questionable split decision over Francimar Barroso. Villante pressed forward for the entire fight, throwing combinations as his opponent continued to move backwards. Barroso landed some solid leg kicks throughout, and landed a bit more down the stretch, but the pressure and early onslaught was enough for Villante to pick up the win. Opening up the PPV card, the UFC’s #14 bantamweight Rob Font knocked out the #10 Thomas Almeida with a violent sequence in the 2nd round.
