UFC strawweight prospect Cynthia Calvillo highlighted a list of three fighters to receive lengthy medical suspensions in the aftermath of UFC 219.
The Nevada Athletic Commission released the event’s medical suspension report on Wednesday to MMA Fighting.
Calvillo dropped a close decision to former UFC strawweight champion Carla Esparza on the night’s main card. As a result of damage sustained in the contest, she will be required to seek clearance on a potentially injured left hand or be forced to sit out six months before returning to active competition, per NAC officials.
