The Nevada Athletic Commission on Monday released the event’s finalized salary information.
Whittaker rallied back from injury and early adversity to defeat Romero via unanimous decision in a back-and-forth contest to capture the interim strap at UFC 213. Like Whittaker, Romero was also paid a flat fee for his work, earning a $350,000 purse with no potential win bonus for his main event effort.
