Not only did Johnny Eduardo take an unnecessary beating at UFC 212, he's potentially got a broken foot, to boot.
On Monday, the Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission (CABMMA) released a list of post-fight medical suspensions following Saturday's UFC bill, which was headlined by Max Holloway's thrilling knockout of Jose Aldo to take the undisputed featherweight title in the main event. Despite the beating he took in the third and decisive round, the all-time 145-pound king Aldo was only handed a 45-day suspension with 30 days of no contact.
The primary medical note was actually Aldo's Nova Uniao senior, 36-year-old Johnny Eduardo, who was diagnosed with a potentially broken right foot in his first-round loss to Matthew Lopez.
