We’re going way back for today’s UFC free fight video. I’m talking the days when the UFC was airing a handful of shows on Versus (now known as NBC Sports Network). The very first UFC on Versus card was held on March 21st, 2010, with Jon Jones caving Brandon Vera’s face in with elbows in the main event.
In the co-main, Junior dos Santos was given a big matchup with former title challenger Gabriel Gonzaga. JDS had come off a knockout of Gilbert Yvel, while Gonzaga had TKO’d Chris Tuchscherer (and destroyed poor Chris’ testicles) on the UFC 102 prelims.
