It’s been an eventful Friday for the UFC, as Saturday’s UFC 209 pay-per-view just lost its interim lightweight title bout between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson. Khabib was hospitalized prior to the weigh-ins and on doctor’s recommendation, he was removed from the event. Ferguson weighed in at 154.5 lbs, so he’ll at least get his show money, but it looks like he won’t be on the card.
Apart from that, everyone else made weight for tomorrow’s card. Welterweight champion Tyron Woodley needed the towel, but still came in at 170 lbs on the nose, while Stephen Thompson tipped the scales at 169 lbs.
