Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) wrangled a pair of veteran welterweights for the upcoming UFC 207 pay-per-view (PPV) event, according to MMA Junkie, which takes place Sat., Dec. 30, 2016 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Tarec Saffiedine vs. Dong Hyun Kim.
Saffiedine (16-5), hoping to rebound from his recent unanimous decision loss to Rick Story, was originally expected to tangle with Matt Brown; however, officials yanked the “Immortal” welterweight after Donald Cerrone got hung out to dry at UFC 205.
Kim (21-3-1, 1 NC), meanwhile, has yet to compete in 2016 after back-to-back wins — and finishes — in 2015.
