UFC 207 ‘Prelims’ ratings peak at 1.8 million viewers

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) closed out the year with one of the most successful “Prelims” telecasts in the history of FOX Sports 1, thanks to a four-fight lead in to UFC 207: “Nunes vs. Rousey” last Friday night (Dec. 30, 2016) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Topping the preliminary line up was the 170-pound showdown between Neil Magny and Johny Hendricks, a hotly-contensted slug-a-thon that ended with “Bigg Rigg” going down on points.

The four-fight preliminary card peaked at 1.8 million viewers, which came in the show’s final 15 minutes, during Neil Magny’s victory over ex-welterweight champion Johny Hendricks on Friday at T-Mobile Arena.
