Tim Kennedy and Kelvin Gastelum — two fighters who were forced off UFC 205 last month for very different reasons (here and here) — finally got the chance to face punch tonight (Sat., Dec. 10, 2016) in a Middleweight showdown at UFC 206, which took place inside Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada.
Kennedy — who had not stepped inside the Octagon since a controversial technical knockout loss to Yoel Romero more than two years ago — looked to jump right back into the 185-pound title chase with and impressive performance. Gastelum, meanwhile, wanted to put his latest scale fail in the rear-view mirror so that he could determine which division suits him best.
