Saturday night at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto UFC 206 will be held, with No. 2 Max Holloway and No. 5 Anthony “Showtime” Pettis fighting for the interim 145 pound (featherweight) title. However only Holloway is eligible to win the belt, as Pettis failed to make the 145-pound weight limit during Friday’s weigh-in. Pettis had a final weight of 148 pounds, and as a result he will also forfeit 20 percent of his final purse to Holloway.
Holloway, who has a record of 16-3-0, has won his last nine fights since losing by unanimous decision to Conor McGregor in August 2013.
