Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returned to pay-per-view (PPV) last night (Sat., Nov. 12, 2016) as UFC 205 went down inside Madison Square Garden in a night of exciting fights in New York.
In the main event of the evening, Conor McGregor etched himself into immortality by knocking out Eddie Alvarez in round two (see it) to win the Lightweight title and become the first man to hold two belts in as many divisions at the same time.
In addition, Tyron Woodley held on to his title after fighting to a majority draw against striking sensation Stephen Thompson (video highlights), while Joanna Jedrzejczyk held on to her women's Strawweight title by outlasting Karolina Kowalkiewicz (recap).
