Lorenzo Fertitta many no longer be the majority owner of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) following the massive $4 billion sale to WME-IMG, but the former CEO of the world's largest mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion is still getting things done.
According to former middleweight champion Chris Weidman, he had some loose ends to tie up with Lorenzo prior to the sale. Once the deal was done, however, Weidman never lost faith that their ongoing contract negotiations were going to go by the wayside.
Thankfully, Lorenzo took the time to sit with "All American" to get a deal done prior to his upcoming fight against Yoel Romero at UFC 205 on Nov.
