There were no surprises among the UFC 205 bonus winners, as Conor McGregor, Tyron Woodley, Stephen Thompson and Yoel Romero each received $50,000 paychecks.
McGregor garnered a “Performance of the Night” award for his second-round knockout of Eddie Alvarez in the evening’s main event. A left hand behind the ear and a follow-up right hook sent Alvarez to the floor, and the fight was halted shortly after the Philadelphia native hit the canvas 3:04 into the period.
Meanwhile, Woodley and Thompson may have been unhappy with the final result of their welterweight championship clash, but the action that occurred over the course of five rounds earned them “Fight of the Night” honors.
